To Install the ODP.NET, Managed Driver 12.2.0.1

To work with Oracle datasets, one of the following Oracle data providers must have been installed on server:

ODP.NET, Managed Driver 12.2.0.1 (product version 4.122.1.20170524) or ODP.NET, Managed Driver 12.1.0.2.160719 (product version 4.121.2.20160624 ODAC RELEASE 4)
64-bit Oracle Data Provider for .NET 4, version 12.1.0.2.0 or later
64-bit Oracle Provider for OLE DB, version 11.1 or later

We recommend to use ODP.NET, Managed Driver 12.2.0.1. Also it is necessary to install it in case of trouble with other Oracle data providers.

Download the ODP.NET_Managed_ODAC122cR1.zip file from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/windows/downloads/utilsoft-087491.html page. You must be registered on Oracle site, this registration is free.

Unpack the downloaded .zip into any folder.
Now you can install the driver in one of two ways:

If you want to use the ODP.NET, Managed Driver only for PlantSight Smart 3D Bridge Extractor, copy the file odp.net\managed\common\Oracle.ManagedDataAccess.dll from the unpacked zip into the binary folder into your installation folder for PlantSight Smart 3D Bridge Extractor, default folder is C:\Program Files\Bentley\PlantSight Smart 3D Bridge Extractor\server\

If you want to register ODP.NET, Managed Driver for common use, execute the install_odpm.bat from the unpacked zip as follows: install_odpm.bat c:\oracle x64
